SIERRA MAR VINEYARD
Santa Lucia Highlands
Located 1,000 feet above the sea, Sierra Mar has a soil composition consisting of decomposed granite and gravelly loam which provides excellent drainage. The wines from this vineyard are consistently full bodied with great structure and moderate acidity, and commonly have flavors reminiscent of black cherries and toast.
Sierra Mar is an estate vineyard for Roar wines, and in addition to Furthermore Wines the vineyard is a long time vineyard designate source for Siduri, Walt, Testarosa and Loring Wine company.
