Located in Santa Barbara county, this is the southern-most vineyard that we’ve worked with. This Certified Organic vineyard was planted in 1998 by Santa Rita Hills pioneer Richard Sanford. This coastal vineyard delivers what people love about and expect from Pinot Noir from the Santa Rita Hills AVA. The wines tend to start with eucalyptus and spearmint notes leading into dark fruit and blackberry flavors. Furthermore has been making wines from this vineyard since 2007 and have found it to produce some of the most age-worthy wines in our entire library.
